A dozen years ago while working on a project entitled Feast of Flowers, I came across a term Radical Naturalism. The term was used in an article about Italian Baroque painter, Caravaggio, but upon further investigation the concept of being informed by direct observation of the natural world was evident. Since that time I have read about and pondered the concept of Naturalism and more importantly a radical approach to Naturalism as a philosophy.
I intend to publish weekly posts exploring forays into the natural world and the things learned while there.
Wonderful, thank you!
